Chicken n cashew balls curry

500 gm chicken mince

100-150gm cashew coarsely ground

Salt to taste

One green chillie.

For the gravy:

Chopped onions-1

Coarsely ground onion -1

Green chillies -2(ground)

Red chillies-5(ground)

Ginger garlic paste -1 tbsp.

Curd -1/4 cup

Tomatoes -1 big

Coconut -1/4 ground to a paste

Aniseeds -1/4 tsp.

Whole garam masala -1 tsp.

Lime juice -1 tbsp

Mint and coriander leaves

Ghee or butter

1 cup water

To make the balls:mix all the ingredients and form into balls.

Heat ghee in a flat bottomed pan.add whole garam masala,aniseeds,and chopped onions and fry till golden brown.then add the ground onions,next the ground chillies,and tomatoes and sauté till tomato softens.add the coconut paste .and sauté for 5 mins.then add curd and the rest of the ingredients.add  the water and when it starts to boil,add the chiken balls.don’t stir allow the chicken balls to settle and simmer till the gravy thickens.

Good accompaniment for pulaos and rotis or bread.

Balls could be fried and added too.
